The term health and welfare are often used interchangeably, but the meanings are slightly different. Our health depends on several factors such as heredity, environmental conditions, choosing food and drink, fitness and exercise, sleep and rest, our thoughts and emotional state of mind. Social Welfare, by contrast is defined as the process of maintaining a state of good health, which involves the individual’s conscious decision to experiment with welfare, while health status simply means people.

Health & Wellness combined sentence can be defined simply as a quest for global health to the extent that human beings are concerned. Health and wellness theme has become a powerful tool in the hands of the vendors on different aspects of human activity.

Many food retailers, fast food, vitamins and nutritional supplements could see an increase in demand for its products due to changes in the health and welfare. The factors that cause drift in the health and welfare have been attributed to the rate at which obesity is increasing among Americans from 1990 to 2005. High rates of heart disease, cancer, and foodborne diseases associated with various increased at astronomical rates. Health and welfare means that the food we eat is also a reflection of our physical health.

Health and wellness trends involves the felling of dangerous products can cause illness, some habits are socially acceptable, but has a resultant effect on our wellbeing.
